It must be mentioned that this Spanish red wine was sourced from prephylloxeric vineyards almost 150 years old, planted at 750 metres of altitude. The ungrafted bushvines are organically farmed.
Hand-harvested, the grapes were selected and then fermented in 5,000-litre wooden vats. Then Terra d’Uro Selección 2016 was transferred into new French oak barrels, where it went through malolactic fermentation and was subsequently aged for 20 months.
Decant this Crianza red wine 1 hour before drinking.

The red wine Terra d’Uro Selección is deep ruby with some burgundy tinges.
Deep and nuanced, this old vines Tinta de Toro is packed with bilberry and bluberry aromas, evolving into mineral and earty notes, a note of lavender and hints of toast and spices.
Deep, textured and smoothened by the years, this wine from Bodega Hacienda Terra d'Uro has some ripe tannins and a superb acidity. Berryish and gently mineral, with ever-evolving complexity and a long, delicately spicy finish.
