White Wine Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques 2019
Availability: In stock
Produced by the Terroir al Límit winery, Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques is a highly interesting Spanish white wine from DOQ Priorat, a region whose white wines are as bit as interesting -some say even more- than its world-famous red wines.
Harvested by hand in little boxes, once in the cellar the Pedro Ximenez grapes were pressed in a vertical basket press. The Muscat grapes were fermented whole clusters with indigenous yeasts. Alcoholic fermentation took place in French oak demi muids (600-litre barrels), after which Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques 2019 was aged for about 18 months in the barrels.
This superbly crafted Priorat white wine is as terroir-oriented as they come.
We suggest that you aerate Terra de Cuques Blanc some time before drinking.
In order to enjoy it to the fullest, serve it at a temperature around 13ºC.
The white wine Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques is medium yellow with a golden rim.
Intense, crisp aromas of white fruit, Mediterranean garrigue and toast. This blend of Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel de Alejandría also suggests some salty and mineral notes, with a deep mineral background and a fennel tip.
Precise and focused, if tasted blind one would hardly guess that this white wine of the Terroir al Límit winery comes from such a warm region. Super clean and savoury on the palate, with remembrances of lime, rosemary, flint and salt. Richly layered and fresh, with refined texture and a long, mineral finish. What an engaging Priorat white wine!

The excellent Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques 2019 proves that the white wines from Priorat are at least as characterful as the reds.
