A blend of old vines Grenache and Carignan, Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques Negre is produced from biodynamically farmed vineyards 55 to 75 years of age.

Produced by the prestigious Terroir al Límit winery, run by Dominik Huber, this red wine from Priorat belongs to the "Vi de Vila" category, which qualifies the wines made from vineyards located near a specific village. In this case, Torroja del Priorat.

Harvested by hand, the grapes of were destemmed and cold-macerated. The subsequent alcoholic fermentation took place in tanks. Then this Spanish red wine was aged for 18 months in big, 2n year French oak vats.

The red wine Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques Negre has a high cherry-coloured robe with a violet rim.


Intense and complex, this blend of Grenache & Carignan conveys an impression of nature and purity. Black fruit, spices, deep mineral and earthy notions and subtle notions of menthol and aromatic herbs. The old-vines really carry the mark of the Priorat terroir.


Bold and savoury, this wine Terroir al Límit has a superb acidity and transmits a real sense of place. Fresh and lively, this Terra de Cuques Negre has some savoury tannins and a long, complex finish with an aftertasted of wild berries and flowers, nuanced by mineral remembrances and Mediterranean underbrush.

A different kind of Priorat, Terroir al Límit Terra de Cuques 2017 is all about subtlety and freshness. Remarkable ageing potential.
