Red Wine Tierras de Murillo Crianza 2017
Availability: In stock
Produced by Bodegas San Esteban, the first cooperative winery in Rioja, this Spanish red wine is made from grapes harvested at their optimal ripening point.
Then the grapes were destemmed, cold-soaked and fermented in stainless steel tanks with periodic pump-overs and punch-downs.
The red wine Tierras de Murillo Crianza 2017 was then aged for 12 months in 85% American and 15% French oak barrels, new and used, and finally aged for a further months in the cellar prior to its commercial release.
The red wine Tierras de Murillo Crianza has a clean, bright, medium cherry-coloured robe with a garnet rim.
Nicely balanced, this varietal Tempranillo by Bodegas San Esteban shows notes of ripe strawberries, black pepper, liquorice and balsam, underpinned by mineral undertones and some earthy remembrances.
This Crianza red wine from La Rioja is pleasant and smooth, but also full of vigour. Notes of strawberries, blackcurrants, Arabica coffee, liquorice, sesame and underbush. Long, spicy finish.
