Product Description

The youngest, entry-level Spanish red wine of Bodegas y Viñedos García Figuero, Tinto Figuero 4 Meses is produced in Ribera del Duero.

It is made from relatively young, 15 to 25-year-old Tempranillo vines, located in the town of La Horra.

Carefully harvested, first the grapes were cold macerated for 2 to 3 days. After that, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Finally, Tinto Figuero 4 Meses 2018 completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 4 months in new and 2nd year American (75%) and French (25%) oak barrels.

Drink until 2022.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The wine Tinto Figuero 4 Meses has a bright, clean, medium-high cherry-coloured robe with a burgundy rim.

Fresh and enticing aromas of wild berries, red fruit, toast and balsam, typical of a varietal Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero, underpinned by some seductive mineral undertones.

Fresh and pleasant, this young red wine by the García Figuero winery shows a good balance between the freshness, the brief period in oak and the fruit. Notes of red berries, rosy pepper and liquorice. Mild tannins and a long, fruity finish.

Our personal opinion

Light and drinkable, Tinto Figuero 4 Meses 2018 pairs well with rice and white meat dishes.

Fresh Tempranillo
This is the kind of wine I like. A fresh Tempranillo with not too much oak. You can drink it alone or with good food. Cheers!!
