Product Description

Crafted from 15 to 25-year-old vines, Tinto Figuero 4 Meses Mágnum is produced by Bodegas y Viñedos García Figuero in the heart of Ribera del Duero.

First, the Tempranillo grapes were manually harvested in little boxes to avoid fruit bruising.

Once in the cellar, the grapes were cold-soaked for 2 to 3 days and then spontaneously fermented. Then this Spanish red wine was racked prior to malolactic fermentation.

Finally, Tinto Figuero 4 Meses 2019 Mágnum (1.5 litre bottle) was aged for 4 months in 50% new and 50% 2nd year American oak (75%) and French oak barrels (25%).

The magnum format makes this Tempranillo a great choice for laid-back dinners with friends.

Additional Information

The wine Tinto Figuero 4 Meses has a bright, clean, medium-high cherry-coloured robe with a crimson rim.

This varietal Tempranillo is fresh and fruity. Loads of red fruit, blackberries, blueberries and mulberries. Great balance between fruit and oak. On the background, subtle mineral notions and some balsamic remembrances.

Fresh and focused. This magnum red wine from Bodegas y Viñedos García Figuero has some mild tannins and a good acidity. Remembrances of wild berries, menthol and underbrush. Long, pleasant finish.
