Red Wine Tinto Figuero Viñas Viejas 2017
Availability: In stock
Produced in Ribera del Duero, Tinto Figuero Viñas Viejas is a remarkable Tempranillo made from over 60-year-old grapevines located in some of the best terroirs of the region.
The estate-owned vineyards of Bodegas y Viñedos García Figuero are planted over 800 metres above sea level. They grow on soils composed of sand and clay.
Harvested in late September and brought to the cellar in little boxes, the grapes were meticulously vinified.
First, this Spanish red wine was spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks, after which it was macerated for 14 days. Then it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels.
Clarified with egg whites, Tinto Figuero Viñas Viejas 2016 was further aged for 12 months in the cellar prior to its commercial release.
Drink this red wine from Ribera del Duero until 2030.
