Made from over 40-year-old vines, this Corpinnat sparkler is made from grapes coming from a single vineyard, Finca Can Martí, classified as Paraje Calificado due to its outstanding characteristics.
The grapes were gently pressed and the free-run juice was fermented and aged for some months in 225-litre French oak barrels from Allier and Limousine.
After that, this Spanish Sparkling wine by the Torelló winery completed secondary fermentation in the bottle and was subsequently aged for a minimum of 36 months.
Pair this Penedès sparkling wine with white meat, cream cheeses and oily fish recipes.
The sparking wine Torelló 225 Brut Nature has a clean, bright pale yellow colour with some steely glints.
Very complex on the nose, this blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada suggests vanilla, toast and ripe white fruit, with some remembrances of lees, dry fruit, garrigue and some lactic nuances. Deep and complex, constantly evolving in the glass.
Pleasant and elegant, this sparkling wine of the Torelló winery has a smooth texture and a delicious, creamy mousse. Very precise acidity, a vinous character and a great freshness. Quince jelly, pear syrup, dry fruit, some buttery remembrances and nuances of aromatic herbs. This Corpinnat is substantial and very pleasant.
