More than a premium Cava, Torelló 3D by Custo Barcelona Brut Gran Reserva comes with a colourful, super stylish packaging: a 3-D label designed by Custo Dalmau, the designer behind the Custo Barcelona clothing brand.
This Spanish sparkling wine is made from a blend of Xarel·lo, coming from vineyards around 30 years of age, and a lesser amount of Macabeo, coming from old vines planted in a single estate, called Can Martí.
After a meticulous harvest, the grapes were gently pressed and only the free-run juice was vinified. Then this Gran Reserve Cava by Torelló was bottled, added sugar and yeasts and fermented.
Finally, Torelló 3D by Custo Barcelona Brut Gran reserva 2011 was aged for a minimum of 48 months in the bottle and manually disgorged before its release.

The Cava Torelló 3D by Custo Barcelona Brut Gran Reserva has a golden colour with some delicately amber tinges.
This blend of Xarel·lo & Macabeo smells of ripe white fruit , alongside vanilla, dry fruit and French patisserie. As it evolves, Torelló 3D by Custo also suggests some aromatic herbs, flowers and citrus on the background.
The Cava Torelló-Custo Barcelona is round, fresh and classy. Bubbles are completely integrated, and the palate is both complex and easy to drink. Remembrances of white pears, toasted almonds, fine lees and English custard, with a touch of Mediterranean herbs.

The Cava Torelló 3D by Custo Barcelona Brut Gran Reserva 2011 not only puts us in a party mood. It is also an excellent Spanish sparkling wine in its own right.
