Corpinnat Torelló Brut Reserva 2018

This Corpinnat organic sparkling wine is made from grapes sourced from Finca Can Martí, a vineyard located in the Alt Penedès area.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were gently pressed to obtain only the "free-run" juice. Vinified in stainless steel tanks, Torelló Brut Reserva 2018 was then blended and bottled in order to complete secondary fermentation.
Finally, this Spanish sparkling wine was aged for a minimum of 36 months prior to its release.
The sparkling wine Torelló Brut Reserva is medium straw with some steely tinges.
Aromas of white fruit, particularly white pears, along with notes of citrus, pineapple and some herbal notions. On the background, this blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada suggests some remembrances of toast, dry fruit and balsam.
Fresh and smooth, but also showing a rewarding tension. Bubbles are very well integrated, and acidity is crisp. Candied pears, aromatic herbs, a touch of pastry and butter, and some remembrances of lime. This Corpinnat sparkling wine of bodega Torelló has a long, gentle finish.
