Product Description

Produced by the Marqués de Vizhoja winery, based in the Galician region of Rías Baixas, Torre La Moreira is a young Albariño.

Made from grapes coming from the 40 hectares of vineyards owned by the company, this Spanish white wine was produced combining the "free-run" juice with a portion of the wine must that was cold-macerated with the skins for 24 hours, resulting in an enhanced aromatic expression.

Fermentation of both musts took place separately in stainless steel tanks. Then Torre La Moreira 2019 was blended and bottled.

Elegant label with Braille printing.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The Galician white wine Torre La Moreira from Rías Baixas has a clean, bright, pale yellow colour with some greenish glints.

Clear notes of pears, apples and freshly cut grass, evolving into aromas of citrus, pomelo rind and tropical fruit. A well-defined, characterful Albariño by Marqués de Vizhoja.

Medium-bodied and fresh, with subtle notions of white fruit, citrus, aromatic herbs, and dim mineral undertones. This young Albariño has an unctuous, slightly bitter finish.

Our personal opinion

A well-crafted, gulpable Albariño, Torre La Moreira 2019 will pair nicely with, for instance, sauteed shrimp.

This Albariño is very pleasant. Creamy, exotic, very inviting. My guests were delighted with it.
