Product Description
Details

Produced by the Marqués de Vizhoja winery, Torre La Moreira is a young Albariño wine made in the Galician region of Rías Baixas

Made from grapes coming from the 40 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, this Spanish white wine was produced combining the "free-run" juice with a portion of the wine must that was cold-macerated with the skins for 24 hours, resulting in an enhanced aromatic expression.

Fermentation of both musts took place separately in stainless steel tanks. Then Torre La Moreira 2022 was blended and bottled.

Elegant label with Braille printing.

Pair this young white wine with shrimp and sushi.

Appearance

The white wine Torre La Moreira is pale yellow with some greenish glints.

Nose

Clear notes of pears, apples and freshly cut grass, evolving into aromas of citrus, pomelo rind and tropical fruit. A well-defined, characterful Albariño from Marqués de Vizhoja.

Palate

Medium-bodied and fresh, with subtle notions of white fruit, citrus, aromatic herbs, and dim mineral undertones. This wine from Marqués de Vizhoja has an unctuous, slightly bitter finish.

Our personal opinion

A well-crafted, gulpable Albariño, Torre La Moreira 2022 will pair nicely with, for instance, sauteed shrimp.

This Albariño is very pleasant. Creamy, exotic, very inviting. My guests were delighted with it.
