This high-end Spanish red wine is made from grapes coming from a single, exceptional plot of only 1.5 hectares located in a privileged environment at the heart of Montsant. The result is true terroir-orientated wine.
Once there, they were cold-soaked and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then Tros Negre was aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels.
Full of finesse and nuance, this red wine from Montsant will improve in the bottle for the next 7-9 years.

The red wine Tros Negre has a medium cherry-coloured robe with a garnet rim.
Rich and delicate, showing a kaleidoscopic character. This single estate old-vines Grenache by Afredo Arribas begins by evoking notes of blueberries, red fruit, orange rind, liquorice, cinnamon and toffee, underpinned by a deep mineral layer, which give way to aromas of violets, lavender, dry earth and Mediterranean garrigue.
Subtle, nuanced, luminous. The texture of this Crianza red wine from Montsant is something to marvel at, as well as its orderly complexity. Hints of toast, Eastern spices and balsam, lively notes of redcurrants, raspberries and strawberries, some floral and mineral nuances and a dash of citrus and even apricots. Smooth-bodied, with a tense acidity and a long, complex finish with subdued mineral and earthy notions.
