This is the new vintage of Una Nit en Globus, produced by winemaker Josep Grau Viticultor from vineyards located in the village of Marçà, DO Montsant.
The vines, 20 to 35 years old, are planted mainly in clay-limestone soils at 350 metres of altitude. This Spanish red wine is made from a blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah.
Manually harvested, the grapes fermented for 10 days with half of the stems in concrete tanks. After that, Una Nit en Globus 2021 was aged for 6 months in the tanks and further aged for another 6 months in the bottle before its commercial release.
The evocative label of this red wine from Montsant was designed by the artist Sergi Ferrando.
This is a very versatile young red wine.
