Produced by bodega Vendrell Rived, La Servera is a very interesting no sulfites added red wine-otherwise called a natural wine-from DO Montsant.
A varietal Grenache, this Spanish red wine is sourced from certified organic vines planted Les Pedrenyeres, a vineyard situated near the village of Marçà.
The hand-picked grapes were macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 days. After that, Vendrell Rived La Servera 2021 was aged for 9 months in the tanks.
This varietal organic red wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered, hence it may contain some natural sediment.
Given that this red wine from Montsant usually opens tight, we recommend aerating it 30 minutes before drinking.
Pair this low-sulfite red wine with BBQ'd meat.

Low sulfite red with bones
Finally a low-sulfite red that is not pale and meatless! This is dark-colored, with black berries and herbs and lots of tension.
