Product Description

A blend of 6 varieties, Venta d’Aubert Ventus is a Spanish red wine made mainly from Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented with lesser amounts of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Monastrell and Syrah.

Belonging to the designation VT Bajo Aragón, all of the vineyards of the Venta d’Aubert winery are farmed according to the principles of organic farming. Some years ago, the winery started a a process of soil regeneration using vegetal compost and animal manure, following the guidelines of biodynamic agriculture.

Hand-harvested, once in the cellar the grapes were destemmed and macerated for 7 days in stainless steel tanks. After that, this Crianza red wine was transferred into French oak barrels, where it was aged for 3 years. Before being bottled, the blend was added a small quantity of Grenache wine aged in stainless steel tanks for 12 months.

Bold and powerful, we suggest that you decant Venta d’Aubert Ventus 2015 a minimum of 30 minutes before you drink it.
