Produced by I Tant Vins, the red vermouth Vermut Bertsolari comes from the city Reus, Catalonia's vermouth capital.
Meticulously crafted, the base wine was added wine alcohol and sugar, and then it was macerated with over 40 botanicals, among which there were wormwood and ragwood, which give this Spanish red vermouth an unmistakably Mediterranean flair.
Medium ruby with some brickwood tinges, Vermut Bertsolari conveys aromas of orchard fruits, citrus and aromatic herbs, with a subtle note of aniseed. The palate is gently bittersweeet, with a characteristic finish.
Elegant and complex, this red vermouth is excellent both as an aperitif and as a cocktail ingredient.
