White Wine Vespres Blanc 2019
Availability: Out of stock
Crafted from young vines, Vespres Blanc is a Spanish white wine produced by Josep Grau Viticultor.
It is a single varietal White Grenache produced from a 6-hectare estate located in Marçà, DO Montsant, with soils composed of granite. The grapevines are organically grown following environmentally-friendly procedures.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were gently crushed for 6 hours and then fermented using indigenous yeasts in a 1,900-litre concrete egg.
Finally, Vespres Blanc 2018 was aged on its lees in those same vats for a period of 7 months.
Drink this white wine from Montsant until 2023.
The white wine Vespres Blanc has a clean, bright yellow colour with a greenish rim.
Gentle, complex notions of white flowers and white fruit. As this single varietal White Grenache opens, it insinuates aromas of wild flowers, aniseed and aromatic herbs, punctuated by some mineral undertones.
Savoury and well-balanced, this white wine by Josep Grau Viticultor has a smooth body and a fruity character. A hint of spices and mineral, a dash of bitter herbs and flavours of white fruit. Remarkable acidity and a long, complex finish.
