The Cava Vilarnau Brut Reserva Gaudí is made from vines located at a considerable altitude, sheltered by the iconic Montserrat mountains.
Made from a traditional DO Cava blend, this Spanish sparkling wine is sourced from organically certified vineyards.
Produced by the Vilarnau winery, a branch of Grupo González Byass, the main component is Macabeo, complemented with Parellada and Xarel·lo.
The secondary fermentation of the cava Vilarnau Brut Reserva Gaudí 2021 took place inside the bottle. After that, this Cava from Penedès was aged for 15 to 24 months on its lees.
This is an inviting and nicely priced vegan cava.
