Produced by Bodegas Hermanos Sastre, the grapes are sourced from vineyards which sandy-limestone soils. The region has a Continental climate.
The vineyards are farmed following environmentally friendly procedures. Farming operations do not involve the use of any chemicals or pesticides.
Harvested at dusk, the grapes were gently pressed and the must underwent a prefermentative cold maceration for 7 days. After that, this Spanish red wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After the completion of alcoholic fermentation, Viña Sastre Roble 2020 was aged for 10 months in American and French oak barrels.
This is an uncomplicated young red wine from Ribera del Duero.
The wine Viña Sastre Roble is medium purple with a reddish rim.
This young Tinta del País is lively and fruit-driven, with aromas of wild berries, balsam and creamy nuances, enlivened by some mineral and balsamic notes.
Intense and well-balanced, this red wine of Bodegas Hermanos Sastre has a meaty body and a great freshness. Blueberries and spices, with a balsamic and earthy notes. Yummy tannins and a medium-long finish.
