Product Description

Produced in the southern Catalonian region of Conca de Barberà, noted for its wonderful complex of monastic buildings, Vins de Pedra La Musa 2015 is a Spanish red wine made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

This wine is made from vines up to 30 years old located at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level.

Soils are mainly composed of limestone and have low levels of organic matter.

After a traditional vinification, this red wine by Vins de Pedra was aged in new French oak barrels for a period of 12 months.

The result is a sophisticated, elegant wine.

Drink now until 2022.

Decant 30 minutes before drinking.

Additional Information
Additional Information

Vins de Pedra La Musa has a clean, medium-high cherry-coloured robe with a garnet rim.

This red wine from Conca de Barberà smells of ripe berries, menthol and creamy notes of spices, combined with a smokey touch and aromas of roasted coffee, undergrowth, wet earth and mineral.

Meaty and velvety, showing notes of dried figs, red berries, menthol, balsam and toast. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot by the Vins de Pedra winery has some slightly rugged tannins, well-balanced acidity and medium finish with remembrances of black fruit and some bitter notes.

Our personal opinion

Vins de Pedra La Musa 2015 is the perfect companion for stews, casseroles and all kinds of hearty dishes.
