Red Wine Volcán Tempranillo 2012
Single varietal Tempranillo from Calatayud vinified through carbonic maceration in stainless steel tanks.
Availability: In stock
This Volcán Tempranillo is a single varietal Spanish red wine produced in Calatayud.
The Tempranillo grapes come from a single estate, Viña Alarba, the oldest of the winery. The vines are planted in slopes with volcanic and slate soils, located at an altitude between 700 and 1100 above sea level. The resulting wine, which belongs to the series Las Pizarras Collection Volcán, is thus quite mineral.
After a manual harvest, the Bodegas y Viñedos del Jalón winery fermented the grapes in stainless steel tanks through the carbonic maceration process.
