Product Description

Yaso 2014 is a Spanish red wine from Toro DO that happily departs from the paradigm of muscular wines dominant in the region in favour of a more gentle, sophisticated approach.

The wine is a single varietal Tinta de Toro wine made from young, about 15-year-old vines located in the heart of the Toro region.

Produced by the Compañía de Viñedos Iberian, also owners of the Viñas del Jaro winery, this red wine was traditionally crafted and vinified.

Prior to its bottling, the wine was aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.

Drink Yaso 2014 until 2021.

Additional Information
Additional Information

Yaso has a very bright, clean, cherry-coloured robe with a garnet rim.

Intense aromas of cherries, flowers and blackcurrants, combined with spices, balsam, aniseed, dry earth and menthol. An exuberant red wine from Toro.

Bold and palate-coating, but also very well balanced. This Tinta de Toro by Viñas del Jaro brings to mind remembrances of juicy black fruit, liquorice and spices. Crisp acidity, crunchy tannins and long finish with some earthy and balsamic notes.

Our personal opinion

Yaso 2014 is a wonderfully drinkable red wine from Toro.

Medium-bodied, fruity, well-priced. Good wine.
