Enate Cabernet-Cabernet is a single varietal red wine belonging to the "Varietals Collection" of the Enate winery.
The first vintage of this Cabernet Sauvignon wine was released in 2014. As with the rest of the varietals that form the collection, the aim of the wine is to express the particular qualities of the grape in its purest form.
Made from grapes coming from the best plots of the winery, this red wine from Somontano was meticulously vinified and aged for 18 months in new barrels.
An age-worthy wine, properly stored it will improve in the bottle for a minimum of ten years.
The classy label of Enate Cabernet-Cabernet 2011 was designed by the prestigious, Ibiza-based german painter Erwin Bechtold.
Nice, clean cherry colour with some reddish glints and a garnet rim.
Complex notes of ripe red fruit, menthol, vegetables, spices, dry earth, balsam, chocolate, charcoal and carob beans.
Powerful and elegant, with an impressive structure and a great freshness. Red fruit, some smokey touches and mineral undertones, a dash of fine wood and old leather, and remembrances of Eastern spices. Well-balanced acidity and ripe tannins. Long, balsamic finish.
