Vinification of Ermita d´Espiells Rosé began with the harvest of the Pinot Noir grapes, which were afterwards meticulously selected in the cellar.
Then this organic rosé wine from Penedès was cold-macerated for 14 hours, gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, this wine from the Juvé & Camps winery was aged on its lees for 3 months to enhance its roundness and balance.
Finally, Ermita d'Espiells Rosé 2018 was aged for 9 months in the bottle before its release.
This wine comes with the same label as its white sibling, Ermita d'Espiells.
The wine Ermita d'Espiells Rosé has a bright rosy colour with some violet tinges.
This expressive rosé wine made from Pinot Noir suggests some aromas of cherries, strawberries and raspberries, alongside remembrances of jasmine and violets.
Yummy and refreshing, this wine from Juvé y Camps has an excellent acidity, nuanced by some delicately bitter notions and remembrances of wild berries. Long finish with a citrusy note.
|Our personal opinion||
Crisp and berryish, Ermita d'Espiells Rosé 2018 pairs wonderfully with light dishes and finger food. Serve cool, not chilled.
