Here's our selection of Fine Bubbles, which comprises six quality sparkling wines from small producers.

Fresh, creamy, with tiny, fine bubbles, Duran Origin Gran Reserva Brut is a blend of the traditional Cava varieties with Chardonnay. Produced by Cava Duran of Ramon Canals, it was aged for 48 months minmum.

A food-friendly sparkler, Giró Ribot UMA Gran Reserva combines Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Xarel·lo. Smooth and amazingly priced, perfect for family gatherings.

Lately, the rosé sparkling wines are increasingly in vogue. The varietal Titiana Brut Rosé Pinot Noir from DO Alella is lively and berryish. The organic rosé Cava Àtica Extra Brut Rosé Reserva of bodega Parató is a fruit-driven blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Another interesting organic sparkling wine, Valldolina Reserva Brut Nature of bodega Can Tutusaus is a traditional Cava blend enlivened with a touch of Chardonnay.

Finally, something very special: Clos Lentiscus Sumoll Reserva Familia is a geeky Blanc de Noirs sparkler made from Sumoll, a high-acidic red variety native to Penedès. Briefly aged in oak, it is produced by the family winery Can Ramon Viticultors del Montgròs, situated in the Garraf mountain range, not far from Barcelona.
