The Freixenet winery produces this single varietal rosé Cava from vineyards located in the old monastic region of Conca de Barberà, in southern Catalonia.

The wine is crafted exclusively from Trepat, a delicate red variety indigenous to the region.

This Cava is produced as a blanc de noirs, that is, the wine must is allowed a very short contact with the grape skins so that it only gets a subtle touch of aromas and colour.

After a traditional vinification, Freixenet Rosat Trepat 2014 was aged for a minimum of 24 months in the cellar.

This rosé sparkling wine belongs to the Freixenet Cuvées de Prestige series, which features single varietal wines made from the best plots owned by the winery.

Drink until 2021.

Freixenet Rosat Trepat has a pale rosy colour with some steely tinges.



This Spanish sparkling wine of the Freixenet winery shows aromas of red fruit, some creamy nuances and hints of white pepper and flowers.



This Rosé Cava made from Trepat is fresh, crisp and linear. Remembrances of citrus, red berries, pastry and Mediterranean underbrush. Long, zippy finish.

    I became acquainted with Trepat wines during a trip to Barberà, Catalonia, and loved the style. This is medium-bodied, mineral, with red berries and spices. Very good.
