The new vintage of Fuentespina Selección comes with a new, elegant packaging.

A single varietal Tempranillo, this Spanish red wine is made from over 50-year-old vines belonging to the Ribera del Duero DO.

Crafted by Bodegas Avelino Vegas, the wine was traditionally vinified and subsequently aged in French oak barrels for 16 months.

Drink Fuentespina Selección 2015 until 2025.

Aerate this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.

Additional Information

Appearance

The red wine Fuentespina Selección has a clean, bright, intense cherry colour with some garnet tinges.

Nose

This expressive old-vines Tempranillo certainly is a purebred Ribera del Duero. Aromas of blueberries and violets, alongside creamy notes of spices, toast, dry earth and balsam.

Palate

Savoury, bold and palate-coating, this wine by Avelino Vegas has nevertheless a graceful passage through the palate. Roasted coffee, black fruit, cocoa, some lactic touches and hints of sweet spices. This crianza red wine has a good acidity, ripe tannins and long finish.

Our personal opinion

We suggest that you pair the bold and complex Fuentespina Selección 2015 with hearty meat dishes.
