Produced in El Bierzo, Godelia Blanco is a Spanish white wine defined by its wonderfully local character.
Incidentally, Bodegas Godelia is located at a privileged spot near The Way of St. James, followed by pilgrims all over the world on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
After the harvest, the grapes were cold-soaked, gently pressed, drawn off and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then this white wine from El Bierzo was aged for 5 months on its lees with periodic stirrings.
Drink Godelia Blanco 2016 until 2022.
The white wine Godelia Blanco has a straw yellow colour with some golden and greenish glints.
This white wine from El Bierzo has a clean, pure nose. Expressive aromas of herbs, apples, citrus and bone fruit over a dim mineral background and some creamy and floral nuances.
Smooth and drinkable, with an excellent acidity and a silky body. A blend of Godello and Doña Blanca by Bodegas Godelia full of ripe white fruit, citrus, some mineral remembrances and delicately bitter notes. Medium finish.
|Our personal opinion||

Godello and Dona Blanca is a great combination. Stony, flinty, spicy. Yess!
I like Godello wines. Intense on the palate, quite mineral and fresh.
