Harvested by hand at their optimal ripening time, the grapes were partially destemmed and fermented using indigenous yeasts. A portion of the wine was fermented in big old wooden vats, and the rest in stainless steel tanks.
Finally, this red wine from Priorat was aged for 9 months in French oak barrels.

The red wine Gotes del Priorat has an intense cherry colour with a violet rim.
It shows the light, nicely understated touch typical of Alfredo Arribas' wines. Fresh aromas of cherries, violets and underbrush, nicely combined with some creamy notes and suggestions of toast, liquorice and mineral. This wine from Portal del Priorat is subtle and enticing.
Fresh and straightforward, showing character but also elegance. This Priorat red wine is youthful and inviting. Remembrances of red berries, spices, Mediterranean garrigue, earth and blue flowers. Ripe tannins, good acidity and a long, balsamic finish.
