A single varietal Verdejo, this Spanish white wine is made from grapes coming from an estate located at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level.
After the harvest, the grapes were destemmed, gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then Gran Cardiel Verdejo 2018 was aged on its lees for a minimum of 3 months prior to its bottling.
Finally, this Verdejo from Rueda was gently filtered and clarified. Drink until 2019.
The wine Gran Cardiel Verdejo has a bright, straw yellow colour with some greenish glints.
This white wine from Rueda is clean and well-defined. Aromas of underbrush, aromatic herbs, aniseed, pineapple, white flowers and quince jelly.
Fresh and pleasant, with refreshing notes of white fruit and bitter herbs and a good acidity. This varietal Verdejo by Félix Lorenzo Cachazo has a medium-long finish with remembrances of aniseed and fennel.
