This is an elegant and very fine Champagne from one of the oldest and most exclusive wineries in France. The Champagne Heidsieck Monopole Premiers Crus, also known as Heidsieck Monopole Blue Top, is crafted from Pinot Noir, with small percentages of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier that give this Champagne a nice complexity and an enticing nose.

After a careful vinification, Heidsieck Monopole Premiers Crus was aged for 36 months in the original underground cellar of the Heidsieck Monopole winery.

This is a very versatile Champagne from Reims that should be enjoyed over the next 3 years.

Additional Information

This Heidsieck Premiers Crus is marked for its very, very fine bubbles. Bright, lively yellow color that has greenish reflections.

Elegant and complex. Intense white floral aromas, alongside loads of white and yellow fruit  and delectable citrus notes. These sensations are all entwined remembrances of dry fruit and bakery notes over a pleasant herbaceous background.

Very expressive and elegant, with a dry and fresh passage. This Champagne by Heidsieck & Co. Monopole has tiny, palate-caressing bubbles that produce a creamy sensation and a good, refreshing acidity. The finish is persistent and round. There is a pleasant aftertaste which makes this sparkling wine very easy to drink.

Our personal opinion

Dry, elegant, fine, and flavorful. Heidsieck Premiers Crus lives up to its famous yellow label.

An above average Champagne, considering the price. Remains consistent over the years.
