Details

Currently owned by the Freixenet group, Henri Abelé is a prestigious Champagne brand with a history that goes back more than 250 years.

Henri Abelé Brut is one of the best products of this highly respected, traditional Champagne maison. This sparkling wine is made from a traditional blend of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir (35%) and Pinot Meunier (25%), all of them coming from the best crus located in the Marne Valley.

After a meticulous vinification process, the wine was aged on its lees for three years. The result is a classic, exemplary Champagne.

Additional Information

Appearance

Henri Abelé Brut has a clean, bright, straw yellow colour with greenish tinges.

Nose

Prominent notes of ripe fruit, particularly apricot compote. Some remembrances of citrus, a dash of aromatic herbs, notions of pastry and toast, and hints of dry fruit, meringue and custard sauce.

Palate

Creamy and smoothy, with tiny, wonderfully integrated bubbles and a great acidity. On the palate this Champagne displays notes of butter, ripe yellow fruit, some mineral undertones and hints of pastry. Long, refreshing, bittersweet finish.

Our personal opinion

Henri Abelé Brut is elegant, savoury and easy to drink. The perfect everyday Champagne.
