Made from a blend defined by Cabernet Franc and Grenache coming from over 50-year-old vines, this Spanish red wine is complemented with tiny amounts of Merlot and Syrah. The vines are farmed following sustainable, environmentally-friendly procedures.
The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks for almost a month.
After that, Heus Negre 2018 was filtered, clarified and stabilized prior to its bottling.
The red wine Heus Negre has a very bright, medium cherry-coloured robe with a violet rim.
Quite intense, this Empordà red wine smells of ripe red and black fruit, combined with some herbaceous notes and dim mineral undertones.
Meaty and consistent, the freshness of this red wine from La Vinyeta gives it a nice drinkability. Fruit-driven, with well integrated tannins and a good acidity. Medium finish.
