Produced from vineyards located on the hills of High Penedès, this Spanish sparkling wine was vinified in a meticulous and traditional way.
Harvested by hand, the grapes of this Brut Nature Cava were pressed, and after that only the "free-run" juice was used to make the wine.
Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. After that, Huguet Gran Reserva 2010 was bottled to complete secondary fermentation and an ageing period of 30 months.
No shipping liquor was added to this Cava. The disgorging date is printed on the back label.

The Cava Huguet Gran Reserva Brut Nature has a straw yellow colour with some golden tinges.
Very much alive despite its being almost 10 years old, this Cava with Pinot Noir carries some aromas of white fruit, ripe pears, citrus, aromatic herbs and nuances of pastry, butter and balsam.
Light and crisp, this Cava from Penedès has some well-integrated bubbles which caress the palate, and an overall dry, crisp character which makes it very inviting. Remembrances of bone fruit, citrus, bitter herbs and some remembrances of flowers. Huguet de Can Feixes has a long, complex finish.

More approachable and easy-to-drink than other Cavas of a similar ageing, Huguet Gran Reserva Brut Nature 2010 is an extremely versatile wine.
