This is an excellent Cava that is well representative of this winery. The name Do has a dual significance: Do as a musical note symbol and Do as in the "Do" of a person (catalan word for talent, skills, gift).
As for the winemaking process, 5% of the wine was fermented and aged in French oak barrels. The rest was fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Jané Ventura Do Gran Reserva Brut Nature Vintage 2010 was aged for 45 months in the bottle.
Drink until 2020.
Straw-yellow coloured with lemon-yellow tinges.
Crisp aromas of white fruit, accompanied by subtle notes of white flowers, lees and herbs. Discrete minerality with a long passage reminiscent of freshly baked bread along an elegant background.
This cava is elegant, delicate, and mouth-filling. Some creamy and spicy notes, remembrances of citrus and notes of dry fruit and white fruit. Good acidity, well-integrated bubbles and a long finish that is persistent.
|Our personal opinion||
A phenomenal cava! Elegant, intense, and creamy.
