The Cava Jané Ventura DO Gran Reserva Brut Nature Vintage is a long-aged sparkler which is well representative of this winery. The name Do has a dual significance: Do as a musical note symbol and Do as in the "Do" of a person (the catalan word for talent o gift).
As for the winemaking process, 15% of the wine - 2 portions of Xarel·lo and 1 of Macabeo - was fermented and aged in new French oak barrels. The Parellada was fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Jané Ventura Do Gran Reserva Brut Nature Vintage 2013 was aged for 48 months in the bottle.
Drink until 2023.
The Cava Jané Ventura DO Gran Reserva Brut Nature has a straw yellow colour with some lemon coloured tinges.
Crisp aromas of white fruit, accompanied by subtle notes of white flowers, dry fruit and herbs. This Cava Gran Reserva by Jané Ventura has a long passage, at the end of which there appears a dim minerality and some hint of fine lees and freshly baked bread..
This cava is elegant, delicate, and mouth-filling. Some creamy and spicy notes, remembrances of citrus and notes of dry fruit and white fruit. A Brut Nature Gran Reserva with a good acidity, well-integrated bubbles and a long finish with remembrances of flowers, citrus and Mediterranean garrigue.
