This Spanish red wine is a straightforward expression of the Montsant terroir.
The grapes come from vines between 10 and 90 years of age, planted in soils of different compositions.
After a careful vinification, this red wine from Montsant was aged for a period of 3 to 4 months in French and American oak barrels. Then it was further aged for 12 months in underground concrete tanks.

This red wine from Montsant is quite intense. Ripe red fruit, blueberries, and delicate notes of tobacco, cedar, balsam, vanilla and underbrush.
Produced by the Coca i Fitó winery, this red wine made from Grenache and Carignan is easy and smooth on the palate. Ripe red berries, a dash of balsam, notes of spices and some mineral overtones alongside a dim layer of Mediterranean undergrowth. Good acidity, sweet tannins and medium, toasted finish.
