This young Spanish white wine belongs to the DO Mallorca-Binissalem.
It is solely made from the indigenous Majorcan grape Premsal Blanc. The vineyards are located in the town of Santa Maria del Camí, about 10 kms from Palma de Mallorca. They are farmed following organic procedures.
Crafted by the Jaume de Puntiró winery, the grapes were selected on site and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Finally, Jaume de Puntiró Blanc was clarified, filtered and stabilized before its bottling.
Drink Jaume de Puntiró Blanc 2018 until 2021.
The white wine Jaume de Puntiró Blanc has a yellow colour with some greenish glints.
This young white wine from Binissalem suggests notes of green apples, peaches, apricot and citrus, combined with aromas of hay, aromatic herbs and dry fruit. A highly characteristic Premsal Blanc.
Crisp and pleasant, with a light passage, an excellent acidity and a good balance. This organic white wine by Jaume de Puntiró is dry and zippy. Remembrances of Granny Smith apples, dried apricots, rosemary, dry earth and garrigue. Medium finish.
|Our personal opinion||
Fresh and exceedingly drinkable, Jaume de Puntiró Blanc 2018 pairs wonderfully with light summer meals, best eaten al fresco.

I drank it while vacationing in Mallorca. Zippy, crisp and not overpriced.
