Details

The wine Jaume de Puntiró Carmesí is made from a blend of the indigenous grapes Mantonegro and Callet, complemented with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Belonging to the DO Binissalem-Mallorca, this interesting Spanish red wine is made from certified organic vineyards.

The grapes were harvested by hand and separately vinified. First, they were gently crushed and macerated with their skins to extract colour and aromas.

Then they were fermented, after which Jaume de Puntiró Carmesí 2017 was aged for 12 months in American oak barrels.

Aerate this red wine from Mallorca produced by the Jaume de Puntiró winery 30 minutes before drinking.

I was curious about the grapes from Majorca. The wine really delivers and I think it will get better in the next years. Will buy it again.
