This Spanish red wine is made from over 20-year-old vines located in the town of Quintanilla de Onésimo, at an altitude of 900 metres above sea level.
Harvested by hand and destemmed, the grapes were cold-soaked, fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in new French and American oak barrels for 6 months.
Produced in the DO Ribera del Duero, La Planta 2018 nicely balances its youthful fruitiness with a mild oak ageing.
The wine La Planta has a high cherry-coloured robe with a violet rim.
This nicely crafted Tempranillo from Arzuaga Navarro suggests aromas of blackcurrants, mulberries and violets, combined with creamy hints of spices, toast and balsam.
Cheerful and lively, this Ribera del Duero red wine has a fresh and straightforward character. Juicy red and black fruit seasoned by a dash of spices, with a good acidity and a medium finish.
