This single varietal Albariño is made from grapes coming from a 4-hectare plot planted with vines 40 to 60 years of age in soils composed of sand and granite.
Harvested by hand at their optimal ripening state, the wine must was fermented in stainless steel tanks under a strict temperature control.
Then this white wine from Rías Baixas was aged on its lees for a short period of time.
Finally, this Spanish white wine spent several months in the cellar prior to its commercial release.
Drink Leirana Albariño until 2022.
Leirana Albariño has a very clean, bright, straw yellow colour with some steely and golden tinges.
This white wine from Rías Baixas is defined by fresh aromas of white fruit, citrus and passion fruit, combined with suggestions of aromatic herbs, balsam, aniseed, and an underlying salty and mineral remembrance.
This varietal Albariño by the Forjas del Salnés winery is savoury and fresh. Notes of peaches, apples, lime, fresh hay and some mineral undertones. Very precise acidity, with a linear passage and a long, though subtle finish.
