This Spanish white wine is made from vines located slightly above sea level, and planted in shallow, sandy soils.
After a meticulous harvest, the grapes were destemmed, gently crushed and cold-soaked. Then, Mar de Envero Albariño 2017 was fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on their lees for a period of 9 months.
20,000 bottles produced.
The wine Mar de Envero Albariño has a very bright, clean, straw yellow colour with some golden tinges.
Intense remembrances of sour apples, medlar and citrus, combined with some herbal touches and some creamy and spicy aromas. This Albariño aged on lees has an expressive nose.
Fresh and pleasant, this wine from the Mar de Envero winery is medium-bodied and textured. Notes of white fruit and white flowers, with some earthy and mineral remembrances. This white wine from Rías Baixas has an excellent balance and a long finish.
|Our personal opinion||Both highly Drinkable and fairly complex, Mar de Envero Albariño 2017 is an excellent value from Rías Baixas.|

Citric and salty, no oak distorting the fruit. Albariño doesn't need it, anyway. Delightful.
