Produced by the Martí Fabra winery, the grapes were harvested by hand and meticulously selected.
Once in the cellar, they were destemmed, macerated for 12 hours and fermented at a low temperature for over a period of 15 days.
Finally, this young rosé wine made from Grenache (known as Lladoner in the region) was aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks for 3 months.
Drink Martí Fabra Lladoner 2018 until 2020.
The rosé wine Martí Fabra Lladoner has a nice, bright-red colour with some ruby tinges.
A layer of intense aromas of redcurrants, blackberries and strawberries, typical of a Grenache rosé wine from L'Empordà, underpinned by hints of rose petals and dim mineral remembrances.
Nicely combined notes of red berries and citrus, great freshness, good acidity and a very agile passage through the palate. This young rosé wine from Martí Fabra winery has a medium-short, lively finish.
|Our personal opinion||
An amazing value, Martí Fabra Lladoner 2018 is a savoury, gulpable rosé that should be enjoyed cool, not chilled.
