Harvested by hand, this red wine from Castilla y León was vinified in stainless steel tanks, after which it was aged in 80% French oak and 20% American oak barrels for 14 months. Bottled in April 2018, it was aged further in the cellar before its release.
Decant Más de Leda 2016 30 minutes before drinking.
The Spanish red wine Mas de Leda has a very bright, high cherry-coloured robe with a bluish rim.
In this red wine from Castilla y León we find some well-defined notes of red fruit, combined with deep aromas of black fruit, cocoa and spiceiss. This old-vines Tempranillo is nuanced by some mineral undertones and hints of resin, dry earth and herbs.
Fresh and mild, this Crianza from Bodegas Leda has a fluent, light passage and a very good acidity. Round and fruity, with some interesting mineral and vegetal remembrances. Long, spicy finish.
|Our personal opinion||
A nicely crafted wine, Mas de Leda 2016 is a versatile Spanish red wine that goes well with many kinds of food.
