After a meticulous harvest, the grapes were selected, destemmed, cold-macerated and fermented for about a month. Then the fermentation process was stopped through the addition of wine alcohol, with a resulting final content of 15%. After that, Mistela del Montsant Negra was transferred into a different container and the solid remnants were gently pressed. Finally, the wine was clarified and stabilized before its bottling.
The name Mistela, incidentally, is a Catalan word that means "fortified wine".

This sweet red wine from Montsant is suggestive and elegant. Notes of coca, blackberries, blue flowers and bitter cocoa, nuanced by remembrances of rose water and strawberry candy.
The texture of this Mistela Negra de Masroig is unctuous and dense. However, the freshness of Carignan gives the wine a remarkable vitality. Succulent, with remembrances of flowers, Mon Cheri bonbons, aromatic herbs and dry earth. Long finish.
