Details

This French champagne, Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial, is the icon champagne of Moët et Chandon. This champagne has been crafted from over one hundred different wines featuring the three Queen grape varietals of Champagne, France. Between twenty and thirty percent of these wines are reserve wines to produce a more complex and better aged champagne. This Imperial brut champagne by Moët and Chandon has been aged in its bottle between three and four years. The coupage of Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial was crafted from a coupage of twenty percent Chardonnay grapes for added finesse. This perfectly structured coupage of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay has helped to make Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial one of the best selling champagnes of the world.

Additional Information

Appearance A bright and clean, straw-yellow colored sparkling wine that casts greenish reflections and has fine effervescence that is quick to rise without forming a crown.
Nose This sparkling wine has medium intense aromatics with bakery notes playing the protagonist role. There are also citrus aromas and ripe white fruits presented along a background of toast.
Palate Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut has smooth attack onto the palate with a medium-intense passage that has remarkable well-integrated effervescence, good acidity, and a medium-persistent aftertaste. The retronasal olfaction qualities of this champagne pushes fragrant white fruit jam sensations that are entwined by smooth toasts, through the palate into the nose.
Our personal opinion This is one of the most renowned French champagnes of all of Spain and it is perfect for those who seek a very highly assured quality in sparkling wines.

My house Champagne. After a decrease in quality, the winery is producing again some pleasurable wines.
