This French champagne, Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2006, lives up to the high standards of the Moët et Chandon brand name.

This champagne has been crafted from the three Queen grape varietals of Champagne and from one single and exceptional vintage of wine.

The grape percentages in this coupage are very similar with 38% Chardonnay grapes, 33% Pinot Noir grapes, and 29% Pinot Meunier grapes.

Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2006 Brut champagne has been aged for a minimum of 48 months in its bottle where the champagne also received its secondary fermentation.

Additional Information

Appearance This champagne presents a pale golden colored body that casts golden reflections.
Nose Nutty and toasted aromatics that soon give way to sweet and fresh citric aromas such as mandarin orange and grapefruit. A vegetal background intertwined with delicate menthol aromas. As the wine opens we perceive new fragrant exotic fruit aromatics that are presented alongside jasmine and fine pastry notes.
Palate This Grand Vintage champagne enters the palate with great elegance. There are pleasant creamy notes alongside warming sensations that support the very fine effervescence of this champagne. There is a persistent aftertaste of over ripened fruits alongside hints of liquorice.
Our personal opinion Our experience with this very elegant and fine champagne, Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage, can be described as love at first sight. This champagne is perfect for memorable occasions.

While not a fan of the entry-level Moet Champagnes, this truly reaches a higher level. Will buy again. Excellent customer service, btw.
