Details

Each bottle of Möet & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé Brut is unique and original. This champagne has been crafted from the most rigorously selected grapes of one single harvest. The coupage of this Grand Vintage Rosé champagne consists of 45% Pinot Noir (22% of which from a red wine reserve), 31% Chardonnay, and 24% Pinot Meunier. The second fermentation process and ageing of this champagne was realized in the dark underground cellers of Moët et Chandon over a time-period of 48 months in this champagne´s bottle. During the degüelle (disgorgement) process, there was eight grams of sugar added per liter.

Additional Information

Appearance This bright and clean French champagne has a pale pink colored body that casts metallic reflections. The effervescence is fine and forms a rosy crown.
Nose This rosé champange should be aerated to achieve its full aromatic expression. After this champagne opens to the air it presents intense and juicy red fruit berry notes that are amplified by a host of red fruit aromatics. These aromatics are presented along a background of walnuts, nutmeg, and pink peppers that are entwined by floral aromatics.
Palate This champagne by Moët & Chandon has a pleasant and silky entrance onto the palate with a big passage that is flavorful and full of volume. The fine effervescence in this wine is very vibrant. The retronasal olfaction qualities of this champagne pushes red fruit jams and fine pastry notes through the palate and into the nose. There is a long and creamy aftertaste.
Our personal opinion This is an intense and silky French champagne that is ideal for special occasions. The seductive nature and elegance of this champagne, Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé, inundates the nose and palate.
