This Spanish red wine was produced by the Grandes Vinos y Viñedos winery from low-yielding, 35 to 45-year-old vineyards located in the town of San José de Aguarón.
The harvest was carried out manually. Once in the winery, the grapes were cold-soaked to extract its full aromatic potential. Subsequently, each grape was fermented separately at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats. Then 70% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels, while the rest was aged in American oak.
Finally, Monasterio de las Viñas Reserva 2014 was blended, bottled and aged for another 24 months before its release.

The red wine Monasterio de las Viñas Reserva has a clean, bright, lively red colour with violet nuances.
The wine displays aromas of spices, flowers, ripe black fruits and raisins. This red wine from Cariñena also shows dried figs and plums over a background of balsamic notes, herbs, minerals and oak.
Full of volume and power, this reserve wine by Grandes Vinos y Viñedos has ripe tannins and a pleasant acidity. Flavours of ripe fruits and forest fruits along a mineral background that gives the wine a refreshing finish.
